Summary:  Yoochun's nightmares have become reality.

"Oh my God," Changmin screamed as the doll slipped into unconsciousness.  Yoochun hit the floor, his body limp and unresponsive; a trickle of blood in the corner of his mouth.  Changmin lifted the seemingly lifeless doll into his arms and rushed him to the bed.

"Yoochun wake up.  Speak to me."

The club owner ignored his own tears; he put his ear to the dolls chest and listened;  Yoochun's heart was still beating.

Changmin cradled his lover, entreating him once more to wake up.

'Please," he begged, "please wake up."

The doll coughed, as small drop of blood appearing in the corner of his mouth.  Changmin wiped it away; another appearing in it's place.

"What is happening?" Changmin asked the doll.  "Please tell me what is happening?"

Yoochun coughed again, breaths coming short and rapid.

"Junsu," he gasped, "must protect Junsu."

Changmin threw a blanket over the doll and stormed over to his dresser.  Picking up his cell phone, he dialed Junsu's number.

"This is Junsu."

"Hyung, get your ass over here.  Something is wrong with Yoochun."

Junsu didn't hesitate.

The limo turned around from it's original destination and sped off into the night.

Junsu gave Mr. Ahn carte blanche to drive like a maniac.  Nothing else mattered but Yoochun.

Changmin poured a glass of water; holding the cup up to Yoochun's lips, he entreated his lover to drink.  The doll took a small sip; coughing once more; more droplets of bright red blood forming in the corner of his mouth.

Changmin's thumb wiped away the blood; his body shaking.

"Promise me," the doll whispered, "promise me me you'll protect Junsu if I die."

Changmin sobbed.

The doll buried his head in Changmin's shoulder.

"I'm sorry Changmin," he gasped, I'm sorry for everything."

Tears welled in his eyes; they fell from delicate lashes.  The trail of tears trickled down his cheeks and dribbled onto his full lips.  Changmin kissed him sweetly;  the metallic taste of Yoochun's blood making him shiver.

The doll arched his head back in pain as a violent coughing spell overtook him.

A small smudge of blood appeared on the doll's neck.  Changmin touched it.  As he did, the smudge appeared larger.  The doll's skin was pricked; a small cut appearing from nowhere.

Changmin watched in horror as the cut grew and became deeper.  Yoochun's throat began to bleed; seeping through his skin.  Changmin frantically ran to his bathroom and found his first aid kit.  Using every gauze pad and a roll of surgical tape he had he wrapped up the doll's throat.  Like a mad man he threw on clothes and hastily put Yoochun in a pair of boxers.  Grabbing his phone, he scooped the listless doll into his arms and into the elevator.

His patrons and employees screamed as they saw the club owner carrying his injured friend.

"Out of my way," he yelled at them as his bouncers cleared the crowd.

He tossed his phone to his bartender.

"Call the hospital.  Tell them we are on our way to the emergency room."

The call was made; Changmin being escorted out the door just as Junsu's limo arrived.

A bouncer opened the door, Changmin stepping inside still clutching his wounded lover.

"Oh my Lord," Junsu exclaimed.

"Step on it Ahn," Changmin ordered him.  "Hospital, now."

Mr. Ahn drove like Mario Andretti.

"Junsu," the doll moaned.  "Must keep Junsu safe."

Junsu found himself tearing up.  He stroked the dolls hair; spoke gentle words; soothed his worried mind.

"I'm  here, Chunnie-ah.  I'm safe.  Don't worry.  We love you.  Changmin and I love you."

His words fell on deaf ears; the doll slipping once more into unconsciousness.

As the limo screeched to a halt in front of the hospital, the ER doors opened up; a gurney ready to take the wounded man inside.  Changmin and Junsu tried to follow, but they were stopped.    They held on to each other tightly and wept;  wept for the porcelain treasure they both loved.

A tall young woman staggered through the alley way; her dress torn and dirty.  Bare feet shuffled through puddles; cuts and bruises slowing her pace. Her dark hair was damp and unruly.  Hungry and exhausted, she soldiered on; propelled by some unknown force.  She stumbled and leaned against a wall.  In her hand was a glass shard;  She smiled as she remembered her purpose.   Taking a deep breath she continued her quest, mumbling a phrase under her breath over and over again.

Kill Junsu; must kill Junsu."
